Because burnout isn’t just a work problem.

It’s a nervous system problem.

When danger signals outweigh safety signals for too long, your brain is not going to let you relax. It is also working overtime - to protect you.

That adaptation can look like exhaustion, cynicism, numbing, compulsive coping, or wanting to escape. It may look calm on the surface, but there is frantically paddling underneath just to stay afloat.

Your brain's thermostat is stuck in activation mode.
The brakes can only work so much when the foot is still on the gas.

And here’s the hopeful part:

What’s programmed can be revised.
What is learned can be unlearned.

Not with perfection.
With consistency.
With community.
With curiosity.

With alignment.

If you want to understand what your nervous system is actually doing & how to work with it instead of against it, follow along. 💚 🧠 🫶
