Rick Ross is giving his legal team their flowers after prosecutors dropped the felony b@ttery by str@ngulation charge against him, citing insufficient evidence. The rapper celebrated the legal victory, declaring, “I told you I had an amazing legal team.” Ross was arrested on October 1 after his ex-girlfriend, model Jazzma Kendrick, accused him of physically a$$aulting her during an August altercation at his Miami Beach home. Kendrick alleged that Ross repeatedly struck her, ch*ked her using the collar of her hoodie, and slammed her against a wall. She also shared a photo of her injured lip, claiming the rapper was responsible. Although the felony charge has been dropped, Ross isn’t completely in the clear. He still faces a misdemeanor domestic v*olence b@ttery charge, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Ross has maintained his innocence, calling the allegations fabricated.
