Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke and All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora were detained by Delhi Police on October 16 ahead of the planned ‘Lehrao Tiranga’ protest. Dipke was detained while heading to Connaught Place, while Bora was taken into custody as she began her march from Mandi House. The protest was planned amid ongoing demonstrations against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, with CJP and its supporters raising concerns over alleged irregularities in the revision of electoral rolls. The planned march had drawn attention amid heightened security and restrictions on public gatherings in parts of the capital. The detentions have once again brought the handling of protests in Delhi into focus, raising questions about the balance between maintaining public order and the right to peaceful assembly. Authorities have cited security concerns around demonstrations, while organisers have continued to press their demands for electoral accountability.

Yesterday morning, I had the enormous pleasure of hosting an intimate breakfast on behalf of @cultured_mag with @lancomeofficial and the truly inimitable Dame Joanna Lumley at @claridgeshotel. It was a slightly pinch-me moment to look around the room at such a glamorous gathering and so many brilliant creative voices around the table . London felt so alive throughout Frieze, and this was the perfect ,and most special ,way to bring the week to a close. Then it fired cold-gas thrusters, jumped over five parked Teslas, flipped in the air, and landed on its wheels. No driver inside. On Tesla’s own timer: 0 to 60 in 0.81 seconds. The top version, Rocket, claims under 0.59 seconds with 10 thrusters. Tesla says it can fly. It is not approved for public roads.
