I told the fairy lights about you! ✨

just a few things that are important to me and just might explain why I am the way I am.

I love fashion, but won’t dress like everyone else. In fact, give me a rule and I’ll break it.

For me home is everything and it needs to be my escape. I truly believe that living your best life is not a science so I do everything in moderation (cake, and bourbon included.)

But most importantly, I always Remember that life is precious so I live it out loud, belly laughs and all!

Will he stay at Souths... or look elsewhere?

💔 The world lost one of its brightest lights, and our hearts are absolutely shattered.

We had the incredible privilege of getting to know @rjmitte over the past year through one of our best friends, @benbrucato, and what a gift he was. Yes, we knew him from one of our favorite shows, Breaking Bad, but the human we got to know was so much more extraordinary than we could have ever imagined.

RJ loved our animals so deeply. He wanted to meet every single one, from our disabled babies to the ones running freely through the pasture. We’ll never forget watching him try to help Diesel walk through the yard, even while being rocky on his own two feet. 🥹 That was RJ. His heart was just that big.

He didn’t only have a successful acting career, he was also endlessly curious, brilliant, hilarious, and relentlessly optimistic. The glass wasn’t half full for RJ. It was always full. He had a solution for everything and a mind that seemed to operate on a level the rest of us could only dream of. I called him the walking ChatGPT. ❤️

When we got the call earlier today, our world collapsed all over again. It hurts like hell that someone who brought so much light into this world is no longer here to share it.

We are so grateful that our paths crossed, that we got to know the human behind the talent, and that we had the honor of calling him our friend.

We know some pretty amazing babies are greeting RJ in heaven today. He’s in good company, but he should still be here with us. For decades and decades. 💔

Please hold his family and friends close in your thoughts and prayers. The world feels a little darker without you, RJ. We hope you knew just how much you mattered.

And to anyone out there who is struggling, please know that you don’t have to carry it all alone. The world needs you here, even on the days when it doesn’t feel that way. If you need someone to listen, please reach out. If we can make life even a little easier for you, we want to try. You matter more than you know.

If you or someone you love is in crisis, call or text 988 for support in the U.S. ❤️

I’ve been been getting so many calls about my decision to resign as Vice Mayor of Stockton so I was trying to come with the words and @iamcardib said exactly what was in my mind in a better way that I ever could.

I love how much love everybody outside of Stockton has shown my community and I love that. This latest action right before the election to distract the voters won’t work.

This is why more than ever voters need to watch what’s happening right in their city as much as we watch what the White House is doing.

I resigned a title, I haven’t lost any authority, and I’m even more committed to moving our city forward.
