I’ve been to 16 networking events this year and I still walk out of some of them without connecting with a single speaker.
It’s not for lack of trying. But between taking notes and rushing to the next session I’ve got maybe four minutes to catch my breath, and searching up seven different people on LinkedIn one at a time is never going to happen in four minutes.
So I built a Claude skill called Connection Buddy and now it does it for me.
I send it a screenshot of the speaker lineup, and it finds each person on LinkedIn, checks it’s actually them, sends the request without a note, and then hands me a rundown of who got reached and who it couldn’t find. The whole thing runs in about 90 seconds from my phone, and it helps me stay in touch with the people I meet.
