![Able South Carolina President & CEO Kimberly Tissot joined teammates Abby Ritter and Marly Saade this week at the Disability EmpowHer Network’s EmpowerHer program happening in Washington, D.C.
For several days, Abby and Marly have been volunteering alongside mentors from across the country, helping young women with disabilities strengthen their leadership, self-advocacy, career readiness, and confidence to take on the world.
Able SC is proud to partner with the Disability EmpowHer Network, a disability-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering girls and women with disabilities through mentorship, leadership development, skill-building, and community. Their programs connect participants with successful disabled women mentors while creating opportunities to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and prepare for future careers.
Kimberly had the opportunity to conduct mock interviews with participants, helping them sharpen their interviewing skills and prepare for future employment opportunities.
