No because we didn’t have all these major issues with people screaming about it being problematic to hold people accountable yet at the same time crying if they saw a suit with a little too much sculpting so to speak or art with more fantastical levels of horny going on. Like there are lines and the people crossing them get passes while “dragon bang car meme lmao” and people going poodle or asking for kink shit to stay in kink shit spaces only or being mildly edgy or anything not super mega concerningly accepting (ie dismissing concerns about how certain groups conduct themselves when it is a legit bare minimum LEGAL concern) or or or Its exhausting. Why can’t this ART COMMUNITY be just an art community anymore? It was already a bit of a problem in the early 2010s when I was getting into the fandom - from a distance/outside observer because I was a minor and also have the biggest helicopter mother ever but thats another story because, again, MINOR - because the furries who were the big names and players all had suits so logically it became a “cant be a real furry without a suit and art comms and stuff and I don’t have that money so I’m not a real furry” thing which… honestly does explain some of the problems in hindsight.

Nearly everything screwed up I've heard about in this community is literally because of those creators who make those dumb reels. Like I been in this Fandom for 12 years and maybe heard about baby fur 2 whole times before they started making 300 reels about it. Now awareness is good but going into detail about what gross stuff they do is not helpful when your audience is 16 year old puriteens and we all know they do it because they have nothing of value to offer this fandom so they pump out shifty content with hot takes like "being a creep is bad"
