A major scare unfolded at the Armapur Estate Ramlila Ground in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, after a gravity swing suddenly broke and tilted to one side while around 14 people were riding it on Thursday night. The incident triggered panic among passengers. According to reports, the swing's base, clips and bearings may have broken. All passengers were safely brought down after the power supply was cut, although two children reportedly complained of minor injuries. The swing operator and other staff allegedly left the scene after the incident. Police reached the spot and launched an investigation into the cause of the accident and the swing's maintenance. The operation of all swings at the fairground was reportedly suspended following the incident. Disclaimer: This video is being used strictly for news and informational purposes only. Checking on someone takes a minute. Coming down to where they are takes more, which is why so few people do it. When someone disappears into themselves, most people still care. They knock. They text “you good?” They say “call me if you need anything.” Then they go back to the light, because the door is right there and the stairs are dark. The ones who matter come down. They don’t need you to explain why you’re hiding, and they don’t drag you upstairs. They sit next to you and bring enough light to see by. If you have someone like that, tell them. If someone you love has gone quiet, don’t just knock. Go down the stairs. Follow @neuronvisuals, and send this to the one who came down for you. #friendship #mentalhealth #loneliness #support
