3 months agoOkay. I completely get what she is saying and probably none of us could rightly argue with her premise. But here’s my issue with her notion and many others who act as the “camp counselors” of the church as I call them. Yes, you are right. None of us are walking it out the exactly Holy way we are to. That’s why we are just vessels, mouthpieces for Him. He knows He called a flawed people who can’t get right. This is evidence of the faith. This is a walk by people who need a Jesus and the Holy Spirit to even spell their name right without sinning, let alone, be the super saints to preach and teach to you. My point is this, everybody, especially Christians just stop 🛑. We are all tumbling to the finish line depending on the Holy Spirit day by day to use us for its purpose whenever it sees fit. We have to stop thinking so highly of ourselves. As the bible says in Romans see yourself soberly. So, I’m giving grace at every turn with my brothers and sisters who preach, teach, try to write about it or talk about it. Not analyzing them like they are data. I’m not green lighting sinfulness or disobedience, I’m just saying know who you are. Stripped down, I need Jesus. Layered up in all of my worldly Christian accolades, I need Jesus. Period.
