Such a precious time of life. This week, Jon and I are treasuring the joy of meeting two new grandbabies, number 21 and number 22 are both little boys, and both are so SO cute and precious. (And number 23, a baby girl, is due to arrive in December).

Ahhhh. Our hearts are full of joy and thankfulness to God.

Most of our family lives in the PNW (in the Pacific Northwest, mostly in Washington state), so this is a frequent landing spot when we’re on the mainland: enjoying our adult children and their wonderful spouses, building strong relationships with our many grandchildren, and connecting with precious parents, lots of siblings, and many extended relatives. #emptynester — There’s a LOT of us. 39 in just our immediate family (which means many one-on-one relationships). We’re always reassessing the best back and forth rhythm and balance, from our current home and ministry in Kona, Hawaii to our beautiful and top-priority family life in the NW.

Dear friends, I would really love prayer right now for a Gospel-focused project that’s been on my heart for many years. I’m working with a wonderful global missions advocacy ministry in Thailand to transform our Mission-Minded Families material converted into a university level course, available for all. Lord willing. Really praying this will be an effective tool all over the world to help Jesus-loving Christian families to step out in boldness and strategic action for God’s Great Commission.
