MIT students built a system that lets AI physically move your fingers and wrist. Called Human Operator, the prototype combines a head-mounted camera, a vision-language model, and electrical muscle stimulation to turn spoken requests into real movements. You can ask it to play a melody, for example. The AI sees the piano, figures out which movements are needed, then sends commands to electrodes that stimulate specific muscles and move your fingers through the sequence. The team has already demonstrated it playing simple piano melodies, drawing, waving, and making hand gestures. The AI behind the prototype uses Claude for the vision-and-language reasoning, while an Arduino and EMS hardware handle the physical movement. The wild part is where this could eventually go. Similar interfaces could help with physical training, accessibility, rehabilitation, prosthetics, or situations where AI guides your body instead of just telling you what to do. Human Operator is still an early research prototype, but AI controlling software is one thing. AI directly controlling human movement feels like an entirely different frontier. Jedna divna torta sa vanil kremom i voćem po receptu za Number cake moje drage Maje @majine_carolije_ ❤️ ✨️NUMBER CAKE✨️ 2 jajeta 230g šećera 2 prstohvata soli 110g meda 120g maslaca 50mlmleka 700-750g mekog brašna* 2 kašičice praška za pecivo *brašno dodajte polako dok ne dobijete glatko testo koje se ne lepi Jaja, šećer, so, med, maslac i mleko zagrejte na pari dok se šećer ne istopi pa dodajte brašno pomešano sa praškom za pecivo i zamestite mekano testo koje se ne lepi. Zamotajte ga u providnu foliju i odlozite u frižider na pola sata-sat da se ohladi pa ga tek onda razvijajte i obavezno na papiru za pečenje!! Isecite testo po šablonu koji ste prethodno napravili (takođe na papiru za pečenje da vam se ne bi zalepio), skinite šablon i zajedno sa papirom na kojem ste razvili testo prebacite na pleh. Ja sam pravila 4 kore prečnika 22 cm. Od viška možete ispeći keksiće.Kore pecite 10ak minuta na 160 sa ventilatorom. ŽUTI FIL: 800 ml mleka 6 žumanaca 200g šećera 140g gustina 60 g oštrog brašna 2 kesice vanilin šećera 100g maslaca 250g maskarpone sira 350ml slatke pavlake Žumanca penasto umutite sa šećerom, pa dodajte brašno, gustin i 200ml mleka da nema grudvica. Ostalih 800ml mleka u koje ste dodali vanilin šećer ugrejte do vrenja, pa polako sipajte smesu od žumanaca. Kuvajte dok se ne zgusne (trebaće vam 10ak minuta). Sklonite sa šporeta i umešajte maslac sobne temperature. Kad se ohladi u fil dodajte maskarpone i umućenu slatku pavlaku i ostavite u frižideru da se dobro ohladi.
