𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐒: 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖𝐒

I was looking forward to all the spooky thrillers, cozy fiction and paranormal romance reads in October, and my list of earcs didn't disappoint.

My recommendations?
𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐄𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 is a blend of romance, magical realism and a whole lot of heart in this story about Analise who keeps ties to her uncle through his vintage leather jacket and the people she befriends who help her learn to live again.

𝐁𝐀𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 is a beautifully written contemporary fiction x romance book about an author, a book critic and a viral literary feud. Smart, funny and emotionally layered and with biting banter, this October GMA book club pick should be on your list.

Biggest disappointment? 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐑 was a chaotic, confusing sequel to The Time Traveller's Wife that follows Alba, who, like her father, travels through time unreliably. This book takes on A LOT but ultimately lacks the charm and love story that made the original so special.
