Rainy days call for grilled cheese, my Nana’s homemade chili... and my favorite sweet treat to finish it off.

Before you book the Cotswold Way, read this.

Last week, six of us walked the bottom half of the Cotswold Way, from Painswick to Bath. 70 miles in 5 days, and not one blister. 🙌

But I’d still do a few things differently:👇🏼

1️⃣ Pack half the clothes. I wore jeans twice in 8 days. Everyone’s in hiking gear, even at dinner.
2️⃣ Train on hills and stairs, not just long walks. Those hills will kick your butt.
3️⃣ Walk the whole trail. It’s 102 miles and a real time commitment, but worth it.
4️⃣ Go when it’s a little warmer. October was rain and cold in the morning, sun and wind at night. Warmer weather means more people, though, so take your pick.
5️⃣ Stay in Bath two extra days. Hands down our favorite town.

The good news is you don’t have to do it our way. Start anywhere and walk as far as you want. 💛
