Some collaborations just feel natural. 🤝
Big love to @bitetorate for bringing this one together, and to @thegrubzlounge for welcoming us in and trusting us to help tell their story.
The Grubz Lounge is bringing something genuinely special to Preston.
Caribbean soul food, warm hospitality, good drinks and a proper relaxed atmosphere right in the heart of Church Street.
This shoot was about much more than simply photographing plates of food. It was about capturing the people, the culture, the flavour, the energy and the feeling behind the place. The kind of atmosphere that makes you want to settle in, order another drink and keep trying your way through the menu.
From the curry goat and brown stew chicken to the wings, loaded fries, Caribbean burritos, desserts and cocktails, everything was packed with colour, character and comfort. You can see the care behind every dish, from the presentation to the flavours, and that same warmth carries through the whole experience.
There is something special about working with independent businesses that are building more than just a menu. The Grubz Lounge is creating a space with personality, culture and real heart, somewhere people can come together, enjoy proper food and feel welcome.
It was a pleasure working alongside @bitetorate on this one, bringing together food, video and photography to showcase what The Grubz Lounge is all about. Collaborations like this are exactly why I love doing what I do: meeting passionate people, creating something meaningful and helping local businesses show the world what makes them different.
Proud to have been part of this one. Preston has so many brilliant independents doing things properly, and it is always a privilege to help tell those stories through my camera and honest content.
