Mannat may be undergoing renovation, but the birthday celebrations outside its gates carried on. Shah Rukh Khan greeted fans gathered outside his Mumbai residence on November 2, waving to the crowd and striking his signature arms-wide-open pose as cheers rang out. The actor turned 61 on Monday.

The Bandra landmark also became a giant canvas for the occasion. Large projections illuminated Mannat with visuals and dialogues from his upcoming film King, giving fans waiting outside another reason to celebrate. Among the displays was a handwritten message from the actor himself.

“Thank you all for your wishes and love. Sending mine right back to you all,” the message read, ending with a promise of love and a big hug.

Shah Rukh had skipped his customary midnight appearance, with his home undergoing extensive reconstruction and expansion. However, his later greeting gave the waiting crowd the birthday moment they had come for—another wave from the star outside the home that has become synonymous with him.

🇺🇸 🇻🇪 The United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) reported a U.S. Marine operation targeting a floating fuel vessel allegedly linked to the Los Choneros criminal gang. The operation reportedly resulted in the sinking of the main vessel and its supporting boats.

Cranston was the perfect voice for that dog

The image features Chief, the rough-edged stray dog voiced by Bryan Cranston in Wes Anderson’s stop-motion animated film Isle of Dogs (2018). Set on Trash Island, the story follows a group of dogs exiled to a garbage-covered island after a government order bans them from a Japanese city. Chief is known for his stubborn, independent nature and distrust of humans, shaped by his difficult life as a stray.

In this scene, Chief sits among piles of rubbish as a human hand offers him food. The simple gesture contrasts with his harsh surroundings, highlighting the vulnerability beneath his tough exterior. The moment reflects one of the film’s recurring themes: trust must be earned, and even a guarded stray can respond to kindness when someone treats him with care.
