‘Where Should The Birds Fly?’ is our collaboration, born from a shared experience of immobility that persists across the Global South.

Inspired by Mahmoud Darwish’s poem ‘The Earth Is Closing In On Us’, the project explores movement denied, borders imposed, and how the accident of birth shapes our freedom to move.

A selection of images from the project is currently on display as part of Awaiting Home at @palhouseldn until 31 July, alongside works by an incredible group of artists.
