House Diaries, episode 3… and possibly the beginning of the end of my sanity 😂 It’s all very well deciding to renovate an entire house… until you remember you actually have to LIVE somewhere while they rewire, replumb and generally take the place apart. Charlie’s solution? A static caravan in the garden. Naturally I went straight to @kevin.mccloud1 hoping he’d tell me this was a terrible idea. Instead he said we should absolutely stay on site AND suggested adding a shed for the washing machine, wellies and coats. Thanks Kevin!!!! Very helpful 😂 Charlie is now fully committed to caravan life. I pointed out that I do still have to go to work looking vaguely presentable. So there we are. My one non-negotiable is Christmas. I am NOT spending Christmas in a static caravan. I’ve clearly been outnumbered. The current plan is to get as much of the outside done as possible and potentially move into our new luxury accommodation around March… Would you do it?! Be honest…
It’s been 14 months since my wonderful friend & hair stylist @m0rganrhodes first cut my disastrous chemo hair into the shortest of pixie crops. Here we are now with what looks like a mop on my head, ready to cut my hair into something that may stay for a while and isn’t an ‘interim’ cut. What a road it’s been; slowly getting back to feeling confident in my skin again. Thanks so much Morgan for your time & care on this road. You are an artist in your field.
