Look at this stunning make over that @innonthelake_ in Godalming has had 🤩 I’m just blown away with the make overs these Mitchell and Butler country pubs have had. Each one is so unique and absolutely stunning 🫶🏻 At this one you can even stay the night in the Innkeepers Collection Hotel, check out their gorgeous rooms online. I was lost for choice when choosing an area to sit to enjoy my meal 🍽️ What I chose… From the main menu… CRISPY CHICKEN, Smoked garlic aioli, parmesan. PAN-FRIED KING PRAWNS, Pancetta, sun-dried tomatoes, wild garlic butter. Mains from the specials menu… SLOW COOKED BLADE OF BEEF, Chive mashed potato, Tenderstem broccoli, Artichoke crisps, Rich gravy. PAN FRIED BREAM FILLET, Chorizo, Green beans, Tomato, and spring onion salsa, Baby potatoes. Thank you so much for a lovely evening and look forward to returning again very soon 🤗 #invite #innonthelake #godalming #countrypub #godalmingrestaurant

It feels so good to be back!!! I’ve missed cooking for you all so much, and what better way to kick off the first EyeSwoon Unplugged in my new Tribeca kitchen than with my Whole Roasted Chicken? I know roasting a whole chicken can feel intimidating (trust me, I’ve been there!), but this recipe is deceptively easy, incredibly delicious, and one I hope will give you the confidence to make it again and again. With minimal prep, it’s a one-pan dinner simple enough for a Wednesday night but impressive enough for Saturday. The secret to its zippy flavor? One of my favorite spices: sumac. Its beautiful, rusty-red hue might suggest something peppery, but sumac actually has a bright, tangy, lemon-like flavor that’s incredibly versatile. Trust me, you’re going to love this one!
