That said, if you are seeing this one for the first time, thanks for being here! This is the backside of a memorial piece/mourning jewelry I made for the passing of Boogie, a friend's lovely, handsome pupster who recently passed away after a tough as hell battle with cancer.

We worked on the details of this custom piece together before bringing it to life: 14k yellow gold heart pendant, with a ruby star set in the back. How is this a memorial piece, you're wondering? Well, my friend had a puppy tooth she wanted to incorporate. Next post I'll get to the front!

Every detail on this piece was made from scratch, from melting the gold down, making a sheet, wire, and bezel.
