Going to be so dope

Out of office for the next 3.5 weeks 🥹🤝 because I’m…

BIG IN JAPAN ALL NOVEMBER! ❤️

What I packed:
My road bike, colorful jerseys, a bikini, rain pants, sunscreen, merino socks, a cotton tank top, a puffy jacket and sandals. Basically everything for sun & rain, long days on the bike and comfy sightseeing in between. And maybe some onsen time?!? 🧖‍♀️

What I didn’t pack:
My laptop. No calls, no emails – just my bike, 200 friends & lots of elevation to climb 📈

What I’m most excited about:
Riding through landscapes I’ve never seen before, epic mountain passes, delicious food, being spontaneous and meeting lots of riders & locals along the way.

The plan:
Fukuoka - Kagoshima with @radrace 🫶🏻
Kagoshima - Shikoku - Ōsaka, self-supported (no plan) 👀

ANY TIPS OR RECOMMENDATIONS? 🇯🇵

Wish me (and my bike) luck on the long flight 🤞🏻 (I’ve done this before, but I’m still super nervous!)

See you on the other side, friends 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Mom Arrested at the point of Selling Her Baby for ₦1.5 Million cash-and-carry in Owerri

A nursing mother has been arrested on Monday night, 2 of November in Owerri, Imo State, over an attempt to sell her baby for ₦1.5 million.

According to Imo-based journalist Chidiebube Okeoma, he was contacted by an individual who claimed to have encountered the woman carrying a baby and heard her expressing her intention to sell the child.

Okeoma said he advised the individual to pretend to be interested in purchasing the baby and arranged for them to meet at Rock View, near the Imo State Police Headquarters.

He disclosed that upon arriving at the agreed location, he personally drove the woman and the individual who contacted him to the police station.

During interrogation, the suspect blamed another woman, alleging that she had encouraged her to sell the baby. However, the woman accused of giving the advice denied the allegation.

The nursing mother further claimed that she considered selling the child because she did not know the baby’s father and lacked the financial resources to cater for the child.

Both women are in police custody as investigations into the incident continue.

As part of our summer cover story, we sat down with @arca1000000 for her most in-depth on-camera conversation about her music yet. 🌺

Across an intimate studio session, she breaks down her sonic language, creative process and wider artistic practice, while reflecting on her latest album XXXXX.
