Kittens may be tiny, but they're full of incredible surprises. At birth, kittens are born with their eyes closed and ears folded, relying completely on their mother for warmth and care. Their eyes usually begin to open between 7 and 14 days old, and although many kittens are born with blue eyes, their permanent eye colour often develops as they grow. During the first few months of life, kittens learn through play, which helps them build coordination, confidence, hunting skills, and social bonds with both people and other animals.
As they explore the world, every climb, pounce, and playful chase is part of their development. Kittens can sleep up to 20 hours a day because their growing bodies need plenty of rest to support healthy brain and muscle development. Their tiny purrs, curious personalities, and endless energy make every day an adventure, reminding us that even the smallest paws can leave the biggest footprints on our hearts. 🐾💛
