I do want bigger quads I won’t lie 🤪 but the real reason I strength train is for longevity

Muscle mass declines starts declining after the age of 30, especially when you hit perimenopause, muscle mass is incredibly important for hormonal health

But not only that, sarcopenia massively decreases life expectancy and especially if you fall you’re pretty doomed

Muscle mass balances blood sugar, increases bone density, increases longevity, supports hormonal health and makes you look and FEEL better 🤩

It’s so much more than having a big ass and big quads. You’re literally adding years onto your life 😛

Ps who wouldn’t want to be able to pick their grandchild up when they’re old??? It’s a win win x

I work in a retirement home and yes, this is so important! Every day I see people that fall and can’t even get their torsos up to get into a sitting position much less stand up

Strength training is so important for women! Iv been doing it for years now I’m nearly 40 and survived operations and autoimmune issues and still fit. It’s not about how you look it’s how you feel ❤️
