August recap 🦁❤️‍🔥🫶🏽🥰🥵

By far the best month of the year. Turned 27 in my favourite place with my favourite people

Lots of spontaneous fun 🤩 aka random birthday sea swims, road trips and nose piercings

Lots of matcha, unreal food and heavy leg sessions

Bittersweet as I’ve never missed my dad more than I do right now. Been listening to his music constantly, feeling him around me and finding old pics of my handsome old man

Just feeling all the feels of life and trying to get through it 🥰✨

And feeling very grateful to have the most incredible humans around me eeeek by @leoniegraceee

I was the one who did it all

Who found you, who picked your outfit, your music, who picked up your ashes

Who misses you so fking much. I can’t stop thinking about you at the moment

Losing you has completely changed my life, I still have parts of myself I need to heal because I lost you

I still feel like the little girl who doesn’t have her dad

And ngl I’m scared ❤️

Anyone else just winging tf out of life rn???? Going with the flow lol x

#noidea #lol by @leoniegraceee

Nothing gives you a reality check like remembering your dad isn’t here to experience life with you anymore. Take the risk, go live your lifeee

Do it for them ❤️‍🩹

He’s my motivation for everything I do

I do want bigger quads I won’t lie 🤪 but the real reason I strength train is for longevity

Muscle mass declines starts declining after the age of 30, especially when you hit perimenopause, muscle mass is incredibly important for hormonal health

But not only that, sarcopenia massively decreases life expectancy and especially if you fall you’re pretty doomed

Muscle mass balances blood sugar, increases bone density, increases longevity, supports hormonal health and makes you look and FEEL better 🤩

It’s so much more than having a big ass and big quads. You’re literally adding years onto your life 😛

Ps who wouldn’t want to be able to pick their grandchild up when they’re old??? It’s a win win x

Where are all my lionesses at??? It’s our time to shine bitch 🦁✨

Life has been unreal the last few weeks. 😍

Gigs, rank ups in my business, welcoming in more incredible women into my team, sunshine, good food & connection.

The more gratitude I have for life, the better it gets ❤️‍🔥

Your reminder to have gratitude for where you’re at and keep choosing a life that lights you up 🤩❤️‍🔥 by @leoniegraceee

Nah you’re alright. Once you’ve experienced one of the worst things than can ever happen to you, it really puts into perspective what’s important

And after witnessing how quickly life can change, how suddenly people can just drop dead without warning

There is no chance in hell I’m wasting my life working for someone else, wasting the best years of my life for minimum pay

Missing memories with family, not being able to go abroad because of annual leave restrictions

I’m just not doing it. And that’s exactly why I took a chance on myself and I’m building a life where I am able to spend time with the family I have left

To travel the world and actually experience beautiful places, because my dad didn’t get the chance to

I’m doing it for him 🤍

Sleep is healing, but so is staying up until 1am having deep conversations with your besties 🤍

My phone died mid way through filming this but the moral of the story is

LIFE IS FUCKING SHORT

After the worst experiences of my life losing my dad, watching him lie in a hospital bed unconscious for weeks, him learn to walk, talk and breathe again

For him just to die anyway

I didn’t go through all of that to spend the rest of my life working a 9-5 or being stuck in an office

I’m not being told when I can have my lunch

I’m just not doing it. I’ve been through too much shit to waste my energy making money for someone else

The system we’re in was built to keep us stuck, skint, depressed and unable to experience life to its fullest

There’s no way I’ve been through all that to just settle for this system. You have to realise you are meant for so much more!

It’s time to take back your control of your life because trust me it’s too fucking short to spend it unhappy!
