Director Vysakh reposted a reviewer's story about Khalifa, and the note called it a classic case of unfair review bombing and targeted hatred towards Prithviraj Sukumaran! 🎬

The reviewer admitted the film arrived with massive hype but ended up a box office flop, mentioning they had it on their theatre list before finally watching it on OTT. They felt it had every ingredient of a mass masala entertainer, with classy music, editing, and direction, plus the required plot twists, and noted that while it may be a bit old school, there is nothing wrong with that, since unrealistic mass movies deserve a place alongside so-called natural ones. They also expressed sympathy for Vysakh, feeling his efforts went in vain. 💔

Released on August 20, 2026, the makers opted for an aggressive multi-platform streaming route instead of an exclusive deal, splitting rights across Amazon Prime Video, Lionsgate Play, Aha, ManoramaMAX, Simply South, and STARZPLAY to widen its reach across languages and regions. Vysakh sharing that story on his own page suggests he stands with the sentiment, which says a lot about how the film's reception has weighed on the team. ✨

James Hetfield spoke during Metallica’s Life Burns Faster Sphere residency in Las Vegas in early October 2026.

He thanked fans for traveling and spending money and time. He said Metallica is not like other entertainers who push agendas with bullshit. The band is here to help people forget outside problems.

Metallica’s only agenda is love, energy, and heavy music. The remarks stayed general with no names mentioned, though they came soon after Macklemore was dropped from Ed Sheeran’s tour for onstage political statements.
