Band Shirt Monday, and @anna.belle.dgaf joining me for Cinderella! 🖤🎸 Those dirty, bluesy guitars and Tom Keifer’s rasp do something to me. Add a chorus you can yell at completely unreasonable volume, and yes, I’m going to need you to turn it up! 🤘 We’ve helpfully worn matching Night Songs shirts so you can admire the band from either direction. There’s also some hair throwing, questionable dancing, and Anna being annoyingly gorgeous! 🥵❤️‍🔥 I’m trying to show you the shirt. She’s distracting me. 😘 #LisaParks #bandgirl #BandShirtMonday #CinderellaBand #HardRock

Trend alert! 👀 Noticing any patterns here? We see a LOT of book covers here at Goodreads, and we started to notice some trends with 2026 book design! We couldn't help but wonder: Is the universe trying to tell us something? DO THE CIRCLES MEAN ANYTHING? No one knows. But it sure is fun to talk about.
soho Sunday
We’ve navigated hospital life for 8.5 weeks now. They’ve included some of the hardest weeks of our lives, but with every week that passes, the more positive they now feel 🙏🏼✨🙏🏼 This last week we’ve managed to get him outside to feel some fresh air and sunshine, and he’s also out of the critical care unit and on the transplant/rehab ward ♥️ The days and weeks continued to feel unsafe for such a long time, up until very recently even, and I can’t believe we’re now in October. I don’t think any of us could have imagined what the following 2 months would hold when we first arrived at the hospital ❤️‍🩹 @gusgold is the truest definition of a fighter and I truly believe that his internal spirit, alongside the collective love, prayer and energy surrounding him, protected him throughout this. It’s honestly quite astounding what his body has been through and the turnaround he’s since made. A double lung transplant. A 16 minute cardiac arrest. Substantial blood loss. ECMO life support for 3 weeks. Continual Dialysis and Ventilation for 6 weeks. A tracheostomy. Weeks of being in an induced coma and sedation. Sepsis - twice. An infection in his chest incision. 6 surgeries in 6 weeks. Multi-Organ dysfunction. I don’t really have the words, but… WTF x It’s been so much for us to see him go through and I can’t imagine what it must feel like for him to try and process all of this alongside trying to recover and make sense of everything. The focus is now on rehabilitation, rebuilding his strength and working towards getting him home. There’s a long road ahead and recovery is anything but linear but he’s truly getting there. What a miracle you are @gusgold - I’ll forever be so proud of how you navigate everything that comes your way. Your strength in every way is truly inspiring. Dreaming of being back home with you and our girls soon ♥️ Thank you all truly truly for your continued love and well wishes. he doesn’t quite have the capacity to engage and respond fully just yet but I know he is so so grateful for all of your messages and prayers x
Jury duty day. ✅ Proud to serve this ordinary yet profound role in our justice system.
