Yesterday I said goodbye to my Addie Bear, my little bandanna dog, the rarest of the Smilodons.

We finally made it into a home that’s truly our own, and I hate that this is where I had to let her go.

She was always the chillest dog-o, ready for an adventure whenever one came along, but just as happy sneaking off for a nap on the patio couch. A dog after my own heart.

We had a good run. I got more time with her than most people get with their dogs, and for that I will be forever grateful.

And thank you, @fmmphotoz , for the most incredible birthday gift all those years ago. Addie changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. I’ll miss her every single day, hope she is back with her fav dog Chula. Thank you to @krisnoland for holding our hand and paw through this.

She really hated having her picture taken, which I’m sure made living with me hard, but here are a few of my favorite Addie moments. In no particular order.
