We had a lovely visit from Gina Hinojosa (@ginafortexas) at FLATS! Thanks so much for stopping by, checking out our space, and learning a little more about what we do! 🎞️

And a friendly reminder that early voting is underway! 🗳️ If you haven’t voted yet, make a plan to get to the polls and make your voice heard.

Happy Voting, Houston!! 💕 by @jesmix

The Analog Photo Booth Hunt continues… but in the meantime, we’ve got some news! 🎞️

Our second @photo.illusion.ca analog booth is officially up and running at Willow’s Smokehouse & Tavern, operated by FLATS!

And don’t worry — the booth at FLATS isn’t going anywhere.

Two analog photo booths in Houston. Go make some memories! ❤️

16.5 years. 10 moves. All the ups and downs of life. Through it all, I was lucky to have this dog by my side.

Yesterday I said goodbye to my Addie Bear, my little bandanna dog, the rarest of the Smilodons.

We finally made it into a home that’s truly our own, and I hate that this is where I had to let her go.

She was always the chillest dog-o, ready for an adventure whenever one came along, but just as happy sneaking off for a nap on the patio couch. A dog after my own heart.

We had a good run. I got more time with her than most people get with their dogs, and for that I will be forever grateful.

And thank you, @fmmphotoz , for the most incredible birthday gift all those years ago. Addie changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. I’ll miss her every single day, hope she is back with her fav dog Chula. Thank you to @krisnoland for holding our hand and paw through this.

She really hated having her picture taken, which I’m sure made living with me hard, but here are a few of my favorite Addie moments. In no particular order. by @jesmix

Spent time in our feels this weekend with @britt_thomas_art peel & stick tears by @jesmix

This month marks 10 years of @flatspresents — and I hope you didn’t think I was going away that easily.

Now that we have a photo booth, it feels like the right time to show you everything I’ve built.

So this is week one of me breaking down FLATS.

It’s been almost two weeks with a booth from the incredible team at @photo_illusion_ca , and we’re still navigating everything.

We’re a small team, operating as both a lab and a community space, so hours are limited for now — but we’ll be hosting special events soon.

If you come by, please be mindful of the space, our neighbors, and the process. This is a true analog booth — chemical, slow, and one of a kind.

Thank you all for the excitement, patience, and support.
