Paramount just dropped the first trailer for “Ebenezer” at Comic-Con.

Directed by Ti West, known for “X,” “Pearl,” and “MaXXXine,” the film is a dark horror-fantasy reimagining of the Charles Dickens classic with Depp playing Scrooge tormented by the spirits of Christmas throughout a snow-covered Victorian London.

The cast surrounding Depp is stacked. Ian McKellen plays Jacob Marley, Daisy Ridley is the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, Andrea Riseborough is the Ghost of Christmas Past, Rupert Grint plays Bob Cratchit, and Tramell Tillman appears as the Ghost of Christmas Present. The trailer ends with Depp looking directly into the camera and delivering the line “It’s good to be back.”

Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, the Mad Hatter, Willy Wonka, and now Ebenezer Scrooge.

“Ebenezer” hits theaters November 13, 2026.
