When great makeup meets good vibes and great music. 🎶🔥 Whenever I see the “Gul Bano” song on reels especially with work from Pekhawar it makes me feel really good We shot this in very challenging conditions extreme heat, peak June–July weather it was night time shoot but lights on set make us burn and the cooking shots Near to fire just make ours bbq . Karwa Chauth has quietly become one of my favourite traditions, and I think I look forward to it a little more with every passing year.

There’s something so lovely about all the little rituals that come with it. The mehendi, pulling out my jewellery, deciding what to wear and taking my own sweet time getting ready. There’s a certain happiness in dressing up simply for the joy of it, and this is one day I particularly love doing just that.

What makes it even sweeter is how everyone at home gets into the spirit of it. All the ladies in the house put on mehendi, there’s the usual chatter and excitement, and somehow the preparations become just as special as the day itself.

And somewhere in all of this is a quiet expression of love. The kind that doesn’t need grand gestures or too many words. Just a little faith, a little devotion, and the comfort of doing something with love, year after year.

I’ve always loved how traditions find their own little place in our lives. How something passed down through generations slowly becomes so personal, filled with familiar faces, little memories and simple joys.

Perhaps that’s what makes this one so special to me. A little bit of love, a little bit of tradition, and a whole lot of happiness in the smallest of things. ❤️

A lot of people have been asking why I cut my hair.

I reached a point of hair depression where I was no longer happy with my hair. Years of braids, tension and damage had taken a toll on my scalp and I was struggling with the damage. What many people didn't see was how much I was silently dealing with. I suffered in silence, trying to find ways to restore my hair and scalp but eventually I realised I needed to let go.

So, I cut it.

And honestly, I am not regretting it one bit. ❤️

Sometimes, starting over is the kindest thing you can do for yourself. This wasn't just about cutting my hair; it was about choosing my health, prioritising myself and giving myself the chance to grow again.

Here's to healthier hair, a healthier scalp and a new chapter. I'm learning to embrace every stage of the journey.

Sometimes, you have to lose the length to regain the health. ✨
