3 weeks of training after finishing Hyrox. Limited time, a hectic schedule and plenty of moments where I questioned if I’d be ready. It wasn’t the perfect training block, but it taught me resilience, patience and that showing up consistently matters more than having perfect conditions.
During the race, there was one moment at the lunges where I genuinely thought I wasn’t going to finish. I felt like I was about to pass out. I had to stop for a minute, calm my breathing, bring my heart rate down and remind myself that the only way to the finish line was one step at a time. So I paced myself and kept moving.
At the sled I saw the finish line. I emptied the tank and sprinted with everything I had left, knowing my loved ones were waiting there to celebrate with me. Every painful step was worth it the moment I crossed that line❤️🏁
