Today is my name day. 🤍
A tradition I didn’t even know existed until I moved to Spain in my early twenties.
Of course, I always knew who Saint Anne was. But, like so many things in life, knowing about something is very different from connecting with what it represents.
What I like most is the idea that Saint Anne quietly prepared the ground for others to flourish. Maybe that’s why her story resonates with me today. It’s also the kind of person I hope to become, and the intention I try to bring into the projects I dedicate my life to.
Over the past few years, I’ve also found myself exploring faith in a way I never expected. Not necessarily as religion, but as something more personal.
One thing I’ve noticed is that fear and faith often pull us in opposite directions. For a long time, I made many decisions from a place of fear. Lately, I’ve become curious about what life looks like when I choose faith instead, whatever that word may mean to each of us.
So today, I’m celebrating more than my name ✨
I’m celebrating myself.
I’m celebrating all the Annas.
And I’m celebrating the courage to trust life a little more than fear. 🤍
