Mijn gedachten gaan naar de slachtoffers en nabestaanden van de moordaanslag op de Pride in Berlijn.

Some things are passed down. Others are carried forward. But some are created.

Through her murals, @mrbbaby has built a world that’s all her own, fusing the Latin folklore and lowriders of her childhood with surreal twists: Maria dolls who became her people, a piñata who learns to live with his cracks. Her Ford Maverick Lobo™ helps her bring that world into the open, giving color to her stories.

spoiler: he couldn’t catch me 🤭

Things you realize when you stop romanticizing love. So many people are together but not in love. So many people are in love but not together. The right person at the wrong time is still the wrong situation. Missing someone doesn’t mean you made the wrong decision. You can forgive someone without giving them access to you again. Sometimes you’re not holding onto the person. You’re holding onto the version of your life you imagined with them. Being loved and feeling loved are two very different things. Sometimes love ends. Sometimes the relationship ends and the love doesn’t.

Btw, poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ is out now. It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way.

If you’d like to read it, comment “Book” and I’ll send you the link.
