My baby. My princess. My answered prayer. Today you are SIX, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude to God for the incredible gift that you are.

Zanya, you are strong yet so tender-hearted. Sweet, independent, kind, loving, and simply so easy to love.
Half the things you say at home, I don’t think anyone would believe came from your mouth because you’re so reserved around people you don’t know well. You may seem shy, but I’m your mom, so I just laugh because I know the little firecracker you truly are! You have the funniest personality and the sweetest heart.

Your due date was July 29 - our wedding anniversary. Yet, in true Zanya fashion, you decided to come on your own terms. Not on Grandpa’s birthday on the 25th. Not on our anniversary on the 29th. You chose to be a Sunday baby - July 26... (today is Sunday too, so this year’s birthday is extra special for that.) And after just one push, there you were. 🤍

Being your mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life. You’ve made motherhood so beautiful because you are such a joy to raise. Dad, Zitel, and I are incredibly blessed that God chose us to be your family.

My prayer for you is that the Lord will continue to keep you, cause His face to shine upon you, fill your life with His peace, and help you become everything He created you to be. I love watching you grow in your love for Jesus, and I still smile every time you remind Zitel, “The Bible says obey your parents!” 😂

May your light never dim. May your purpose never be hindered. May your blessings overflow, and may your destiny never be truncated. You are made for signs and wonders, my best girl.
