Every single birth plan decision we sat and dwelled over for months went right out the window one-by-one this week. 😅
We wound up choosing a c section after Lydia’s heart rate dropped for the 3rd time and we were not progressing. A choice I had NEVER planned on having to make.
This has been such an emotional past few days and I’m so thankful for everyone’s support and love for us! 💞 Yall rallied behind us and it was beautiful!
I also have to give a huge shoutout to all the L&D nurses and midwives at @unchealthwayne , because we met just about all of them during our stay, and they worked their butts off for us like this was their baby.💓 We couldn’t be more grateful for the team we had around us.

Ahhhhh I love her so big already!!! 🤍 Welcome to the family baby girl!! She was on her own plan for sure! 😂 all that matters is that momma and her are healthy, and I’m so grateful you both are! I love you and am so proud of you! 🤍
