She put “ceasefire” in her bio. She lost friends of 30 years. She didn’t take it back. 🕊️ Marcia Cross spent two decades as one of TV’s most recognizable faces — Melrose Place, Desperate Housewives. Since October 2023, she’s used her platforms for one thing: demanding a ceasefire in Gaza and condemning the bombing of hospitals. Her Instagram bio now simply reads “Mama, actress, activist, ceasefire.” The backlash was brutal. Friends she’d known for decades stopped speaking to her. She was accused of hate. A pro-Israel watchdog group named her its “Antisemite of the Week.” In October 2025, she addressed the Gaza Tribunal in Istanbul: “I couldn’t function. I couldn’t live with myself. Who am I, if I stay silent?” People saw her as someone who hated Jews, she said — when all she was doing was “begging for the killing to stop.” She’s not alone. Mark Ruffalo fought to protect pro-Palestinian artists from blacklisting. The Weeknd sent millions of meals to Gaza. One by one, artists are refusing to look away. Silence is not neutral. It is a choice. 🔎 Sources: 1️⃣ Middle East Eye — Marcia Cross condemns silence on Israel’s war on Gaza 2️⃣ Roya News / TRT World — Cross addresses the Gaza Tribunal, Istanbul (Oct 2025) 3️⃣ AOL / StopAntisemitism — Cross branded “Antisemite of the Week” (Sept 2025) 👇 When speaking up for a ceasefire costs you your friendships and your reputation — what would you do?

After 9 extremely difficult years, my dads finally got the green light to get his kidney transplant ❤️🥲 9 years ago my dad was in intensive care for months, with multiple major issues. We seriously didn’t know if he was going to make it out. He’s the strongest guy I’ve ever known, and honestly I’m so proud to be his son. He’s had an unbelievably difficult last 9 years because of his health and other things, and getting a new kidney will drastically improve his quality of life. Now we just have to wait for that phone call 🙌
Still beaming from last week’s launch party to celebrate the birth of my new book, Honey & Fire🍯🔥 I always say it takes a village. Behind every big accomplishment there are a million acts of support — in the seen and unseen realms — that contributed to the becoming of such accomplishment. As I celebrate my book being officially out in the world, I cannot help but celebrate all the support I’ve received along the way. To celebrate MY VILLAGE! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have been in this journey with me, whether you were present at this event or not. 🙏🏽Big thanks to @lovepeytoncallahan and @cal.callahan for your generosity with helping this event come to life. 🎙️To @iamalysoncharles for being the best MC I could have asked for! 📚To all who came to celebrate with me during this launch event. 🍯To all my sisters who offered support for the event and the book shoot, or read the book ahead of time @mrsnikolaev @vylana @thepoetqueen @iamfridabrooks @wholistichealingarts @analeeward @meowwwey @katgraham @yoaimee @thirdeyeiswise + the Honey Carriers Advance Readers Club. 📸To @kimberlymufferi for all the gorgeous images! 🎨To @thevisualcorner for making my vision for this cover come to life. ♥️To my love @lylemaxson for the million ways in which your existence has contributed to this birth. And to all of you who have shared, pre-ordered or left a review for me to support in making this book reach as many people as it’s meant to🫶🏽 Deeply grateful to get to share this journey with you all.
