WOAP 2026
To kick off we were lucky enough to try @phovietstreetfood burger - “Pho-Chick Sakes”
For $27 you get a MASSIVE chicken burger served with fries, dipping sauce plus a bowl of PHO BROTH. How good!!
Starting with the sides, the fries were simple and had a nice thai season to top. Cooked well, not too soft and had a good crunch! But as for the pho… WOW. Honestly a highlight from this meal, it was soooo rich and flavourful, it was perfect in between bites and to finish off this dish. 10/10 broth.
The burger thooooo. A big stack with a coconut infused bun?? Like what the fuck, incredible. The chicken was cooked to perfection, super crispy and crunchy outside but the inside was still juicy and tender. The manuka smoked bacon paired perfectly with the chicken, the pickled vegetables balanced the protein out really well. As for the yum yum sauce, there was the perfect amount. With a burger like this which is already super juicy, a light touch of sauce is all you need!
All together, the elements of this burger worked really nicely. Both salty and a tiny bit sweet, every bite had so much flavour to it. For $27 you’ll be full for the whole day!
