A Bexar County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was fired this week after photos of her posing with inmates and making an obscene gesture inside the jail circulated on social media. A BCSO spokesperson confirmed Karla Beltran, who appears in the photos, was dismissed under the department’s “probationary dismissal” policy. Records show she had worked for the sheriff’s office since July. Read the full story at the link in our bio. (Photo courtesy of Nathan Buchanan)

Night to day and back again, in a room I essentially never want to leave. 🥀 And now I have to ask, can you call it a staycation if it’s not your hometown? Because this feels a little like one, especially since I asked reception if I could stay in the same room as my last visit because I loved it so much. #romanticstyle #elegantstyle #movielike #londonhotel | photos at The Ned in London, wearing a vintage slip that I spent the whole day in yesterday followed by this red gown that I picked up last week that I am thoroughly obsessed with. @thenedlondon
Morning When we moved in, there wasn’t a hallway at all… Creating one was a big job, involving knocking down walls and completely changing the layout, but I’m so glad we did it. We’ve created a lovely wide entrance with beautiful cornice. The walls are painted in Salt by Neptune, which has made such a difference. It’s one of those changes that has completely transformed the feel of our home and I honestly can’t imagine the house without it now. A lot of hard work, but so worth it.
