So glad to share a new collaboration for Dead Sound, featuring the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg. The release will be accompanied by a special music video created by dancer and videographer Paul André Fortin.

Thank you for your time and support.

Multidisciplinary artist Paul André Fortin inhabits the feeling of being alien through the lens of contemporary dance in natural Canadian landscapes, seeking solace and vulnerability away from urban life. Paul interprets the piece, “Dead Sound,” as a mental struggle for peace, searching the natural world amid a time of major change, emotional pain, and an uncertain future.

Experiencing difficult moments in quantum coherence with earth, the music parallels global challenges like climate change, atomic warfare, and political alienation with intense human experiences, particularly limerence, with cinematic orchestral science fiction moods. the artists position geographical location as a critical catalyst for healing.

This interpretation is dedicated to the victims of the vehicle-ramming attack at Berlin’s Christopher Street Day (CSD) Pride celebration in Tiergarten park. To those affected by this tragic act of violence—you belong in our world. R.I.P.

Project Locations: Lake Magog and Rivière des Mille-îles, Canada; and the Atlantic Ocean, Seafield Beach (Quilty, County Clare, Ireland).

This video is produced by Paul André Fortin. Cameraman: Héctor René García.
