Back in the day when I owned a Sports Card Store in New Jersey, the crackhead would open boxes and go nuts when he pulled a big card. This is a good lesson for kids, not to do drugs and drink milk.

Ibrahim Ali Fawaz, an 18-year-old from Dearborn, has been identified as the young man who died following a motorcycle crash involving a Wyandotte police cruiser Thursday night.

The crash occurred near West Jefferson and Sibley roads in Riverview following a police pursuit.

According to Wyandotte police, Fawaz was reportedly traveling more than 100 mph on a motorcycle without a license plate when officers attempted a traffic stop. Police said he fled, entered oncoming traffic and later lost control on a dead-end road in Riverview.

A Wyandotte police cruiser ended up on top of the motorcycle and rider following the crash. Fawaz was reportedly not breathing at the scene and received CPR while being transported to the hospital. He later died.

Michigan State Police are investigating the fatal crash, including the circumstances surrounding the police cruiser’s involvement. No final determination of fault has been announced.

According to a funeral announcement issued by the Islamic Institute of Knowledge in Dearborn, visitation services for Fawaz will be held Friday, October 16, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, October 17, from noon to 2 p.m.

Burial will follow Saturday’s services at Islamic Memorial Gardens in Westland.

‘YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING’ is looking like one of the most fascinating documentaries in a long time.

Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the nearly three-hour A24 film follows Elizabeth Holmes during her final weeks before prison, whose fraudulent blood-testing company, Theranos, sparked one of the biggest fraud scandals in Silicon Valley’s history.

The unprecedented access to Holmes and her family is intriguing enough, but Fielder’s involvement raises more questions: How much of what we’re seeing is genuine and how much is shaped by the presence of the cameras?

And with Elizabeth Holmes at the center, even the title’s promise of seeing everything feels far too easy to trust.

With the film already earning acclaim from both critics and audiences, it could potentially make history as the first documentary nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
