2. Unlike many slot canyons in Utah, Little Wild Horse is non-technical—no rappelling gear needed, just your favorite hiking boots.
3. In the narrowest sections, the canyon walls shrink down to just shoulder-width apart!
‼️Always check the local weather forecast before heading in (flash floods are real in slot canyons!), and consider connecting it with Bell Canyon for an 8-mile loop if you’re looking for extra miles.

![Pernyataan Presiden Prabowo Subianto pada 11 tahun lalu kembali menjadi sorotan di tengah kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla) yang melanda sejumlah wilayah Sumatera dan Kalimantan sepanjang 2026. Dilansir Sabang Merauke News, pada 14 Oktober 2015, Prabowo yang saat itu menjabat Ketua Umum Partai Gerindra pernah mendesak pemerintah Presiden Joko Widodo untuk menetapkan kabut asap akibat karhutla sebagai bencana nasional. "Demi mengatasi kabut asap yang terus merugikan sebagian rakyat Indonesia, saya menyarankan untuk menaikkan status tersebut menjadi bencana nasional," tulis Prabowo melalui akun Facebook resminya kala itu. Ia menilai penetapan status tersebut penting agar pemerintah pusat dan daerah dapat mengerahkan sumber daya secara lebih maksimal. Bahkan, Prabowo mengaku telah menginstruksikan Fraksi Gerindra di DPR RI untuk memperjuangkan usulan tersebut.
Namun, sebelas tahun berselang, situasi berbeda terjadi ketika Prabowo telah menjabat sebagai Presiden RI. Karhutla yang kembali melanda Sumatera dan Kalimantan pada 2026 dilaporkan mengganggu kesehatan masyarakat, aktivitas ekonomi, transportasi udara, hingga menimbulkan kabut asap yang mencapai Malaysia dan Singapura. Meski dampaknya meluas, pemerintah belum menetapkan karhutla sebagai bencana nasional. Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik dan Keamanan Dudung Abdurachman pada Senin (12/10/2026) menyatakan pemerintah masih mampu menangani kebakaran dengan sumber daya yang tersedia. Perbedaan sikap pemerintah saat ini dengan desakan Prabowo pada 2015 pun kembali menjadi perhatian, sementara operasi pemadaman darat, udara, dan modifikasi cuaca terus dilakukan untuk mengendalikan kebakaran.
