HU Staff: Ariela Anís @ari.anis Chick-Fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy is going viral as he eludes questions passing him about the company’s LGBTQ+ stance after his father and former CEO Dan Cathy slammed same-sex marriage. Back in June 2014, Dan Cathy, who was then President and COO, told a Christian news outlet that the company stood by “the biblical definition of the family unit.” ___________________________________________________ He said, “I think we are inviting God’s judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say, ‘We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage.’” By July 2012, Dan Cathy was dodging questions pressing him about his previous comments about the LGBTQ+ community. Later, in February 2018, Dan Cathy again addressed his comments and backlash. This time, he said he needed to watch his words better and think before speaking considering his status and public profile. ___________________________________________________ Fast forward to October 2026, when Dan Cathy’s son and current Chick-Fil-A CEO Andrew Cathy followed in his father’s footsteps and dodged questions about his father’s previous controversial comments about the LGBTQ+ community. While speaking with ‘TODAY’ host Craig Melvin, Andrew Cathy said, “Well, for anybody that hadn’t tried us, we’d love for you to come try and have our great tasting food and the hospitality that we’re known for…” ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 @todayshow / @foxsanantonio / @cbsnews / @wsbtv

A crew of firefighters is installing cameras at some of the highest sites in California to monitor the state’s most fire-prone landscapes. A.I. is used to sift through images from the network, helping firefighters identify and respond to early signs of wildfires. Our reporter John Branch followed the team as it installed cameras in the Sierra Nevada. At the link in our bio, learn more about how California is using A.I. and cameras to stop wildfires. Soooo wanna save any or all to 🪦?
Not many people could make me travel to Birmingham on a Tuesday night, via two taxis, a train, and 2.30hr car ride home, especially when Arsenal are playing a big Champions League match at home. In fact, there’s only one: Stevie Wonder. My all-time favourite singer/musician launched his new tour last night, a 50th anniversary tribute to his iconic Songs In The Key of Life album. And to say it was brilliant is an understatement. He may be 76 but his voice is still incredible, his musicianship extraordinary, and his stamina/energy remarkable. Backed by a huge world-class band and singers, the great man was on fabulous form. This clip was my favourite bit: Stevie drinking tea to ease his throat, while speaking in a comically Artful Dodger-style English accent, then singing If It’s Magic in perfect pitch. It was all magic, Stevie. Thank you. 🙏
