Imagine having to remember digits of pi just to turn the volume down. That’s the kind of problem programmers invent for r/badUIbattles, a Reddit community dedicated to making basic digital tasks painfully difficult. Entering a phone number becomes a battle with sliders. Selecting a birthday turns into a guessing game. Even a checkbox might only cooperate half the time. The challenge is to build an interface that technically works while making you regret every click. Judging by the submissions, making something this annoying takes considerable skill. 🚨TikTok star Bryce Hall, who griped that his MAGA politics ruined his dating life, just got arrested on domestic violence charges in Vegas. His ex-girlfriend (Mika Lafuente) reportedly went to their former shared home in Las Vegas to pick up belongings she had left behind. After getting most of her things, she went back inside for a Roomba vacuum. Hall allegedly blocked her from taking it, an argument broke out, and he is accused of grabbing her, carrying her outside, and throwing her onto landscaping rocks. She recorded audio of part of the confrontation. Classic MAGA: loud about “protecting women from the transes” online, controlling and hurting them offline. Naturally, his team calls it a hoax, but the pattern fits.
Have a nice day🤎
