Megan Thee Stallion as The Bride of Frankenstein. Fun fact: Last year for #Halloween, I was commissioned to design these custom #BrideOfFrankenstein options for #MeganTheeStallion. She went in a different direction with her costume in the end & didn’t use these. However, I’ve designed outfits for her before that she’s worn both on stage & for the red carpet. I love how these turned out + worked hard on them, so thought I would share. Which option do you like the most?
Nisaba: Where Delhi Finally Eats the Way India Eats I have a prejudice, and I may as well declare it at the outset. The more elaborate a restaurant's philosophy, the less I trust the food. Manifestos tend to arrive on menu covers when the kitchen has run out of ideas. So when word got around that Manish Mehrotra, the man behind Indian Accent and Comorin, was opening a place devoted to "the way India eats today," I settled in for a sermon. What I got was a fantastic lunch. The setting Start with the location, because it matters. Nisaba sits within the Humayun's Tomb Museum Complex, which is possibly the most beautiful address in Delhi for a restaurant. There is nothing else like it in the city. You leave behind the honking and the hustle and step into a calm that feels borrowed from another century. The pace slows without anyone asking it to, and that, I think, is half the point. This is a restaurant that expects you to stay. The room changes with the light. At lunch it is airy and unfussy. By evening it turns warm and intimate. The bar and lounge sit against the sandstone lattice of the complex, and the late sun filters through in a way no interior designer could have scripted. Chef Manish's own cookbooks line the shelves, which gives the place a lived-in feel rather than a showroom gloss. And at the centre is the "Life Cycle" sculpture, grain becoming form and form returning to grain. It is a fitting emblem for a restaurant named after the Mesopotamian goddess of grain and writing. The idea What Manish is doing here is deceptively simple. He takes the food of homes, streets and small towns, the sort of cooking that was never written up or celebrated, and treats it with the seriousness it always deserved. The ingredients are seasonal and sourced through long relationships with farmers and suppliers, and the menu shifts with what is at its best. The result is food that is familiar, but sharper and more precise than you remember.
Elon is now creating the largest building in human history… The Terafab. And I don’t think people realize just how insane this project is. This is a map of Manhattan. The Terafab will be 3x bigger than Central Park. 1700 football fields in one single Texas building. It’s insane. But the wildest part of this project isn’t even the size of the building. It’s the master plan for why Elon had to build it in the first place. See Elon went to all the major chip companies and asked to buy out everything they had. And even if they would have let him, which they didn’t, the total chip supply today is only 2% of what he needs internally for Tesla, SpaceX, Grok, and Optimus. So the Terafab isn’t really a play to disrupt the current companies… It’s simply the only way for him to build enough AI chips to keep his projects alive. What this means…is that when it’s finished…. Elon will own the world’s biggest factory that produces computer chips for all of his companies. And if it works, it will become the ultimate competitive advantage. At full capacity, this one building will be able to produce 200 billion AI chips per year. And most of these will be sent directly into space to build orbital data centers. So the plan… in summary, is this… 1. Build the biggest building ever created on Earth 2. To produce 50x the existing AI chip supply 3. To send billions of chips into outer space 4. To create floating data centers that power AI for the world Never bet against Elon. Follow @kallaway to stay ahead of the curve on tech, AI and robotics #tech #ai #elonmusk #robotics #technology
