Eight years ago, you came into our lives and somehow made every day brighter, louder, funnier, and so much more meaningful. Watching you grow has been the greatest joy of my life.

You amaze me every single day. You have the sharpest, brightest little mind I know. You’re always asking questions, wanting to know how things work, learning new facts, and somehow staying updated on everything! Your curiosity is endless, and I hope you never lose it. The world belongs to people who never stop wondering, and that’s exactly who you are.

But what I love even more than your clever mind is your beautiful heart. You make us laugh with your silly jokes, surprise us with your big ideas, and fill our home with a kind of happiness that only you can bring. Life is simply better because you’re in it.

As you turn eight, I hope you keep dreaming big, playing hard, asking “Why?” a hundred times a day, and believing that anything is possible. Be brave enough to try, kind enough to help, and confident enough to always be yourself. That is your real superpower.

No matter how tall you grow or how much you learn, you’ll always be my little baby—the boy who made me a parent and gave me the greatest title I’ll ever have: your dad.
