I have a funny update to my eye update from last week. In the days after the first laser treatment, as I would check my vision, I could see better far away out of my right eye and better close-up out of my left eye. I had them backwards 🤦🏻‍♀️ After the 2nd laser treatment yesterday, I’m at 20/20 distance vision in my right eye. And we are working towards 20/20 reading-phone distance in the left eye. I got to choose between reading distance or computer screen distance. This process is so interesting. I get to “try out” what it’s going to be like with these steam punk looking glasses so she can make adjustments before she uses the laser. So depending on my vision tests next Monday, I’ll either be finished August 10th or August 17th. This whole process started 1 year ago this week and here I sit having had 3 glaucoma laser and surgery procedures, cataract removal with new technology lens implants, and 2 weeks away from possibly being glasses free. It’s been extremely scary, expensive and time consuming but the fact that I may not need glasses or worse case scenario, just readers on occasion is AMAZING. So many answered prayers! Thank you all for keeping up with me and checking in. Thanks Scott for chauffeuring me home from many appointments. Like the ladies at my appointment said yesterday, I’m almost finished. I may miss these big ole black UV safety glasses 🤓 lol
