10th & Broadway. This is the vibrant scene right now behind the Margot Flats in the Golden Triangle. A guy lounging in the trash with his dog. Vagrants picking through piles of discarded belongings. This is the scene after Mayor “Meth Camp Mike” Johnston used Housing Connector to place drug dealers and addicts into taxpayer-funded apartments at Margot Flats. At a Golden Triangle neighborhood meeting, residents confronted Cole Chandler about the city placing drug dealers at Margot Flats. His response? “I’m sorry about that.” 🙄 #Denver #GoldenTriangle #MargotFlats

What happens when journalists dare to ask uncomfortable questions? Journalist Raghav Trivedi recalls being brutally assaulted, allegedly by BJP workers, while covering Amit Shah's rally in Rae Bareli in 2024. He was beaten, labelled a Muslim because of his long hair and beard, and subjected to communal slurs. According to his account, police personnel were present, yet nobody stepped forward to protect him. All because he dared to question what was happening at a political rally. This is the reality independent journalists in India are increasingly forced to confront. When asking questions comes with the threat of violence, and those responsible escape immediate accountability, press freedom itself is at stake. A democracy cannot function when journalists are intimidated into silence. MONDAY MENSCH: JERRY SEINFELD! “I’m going to find out how much your ticket was and I’m sending the money to Israel” - Seinfeld’s legendary line to an anti Israel heckler this weekend in Chicago! THANK YOU Jerry, and his incredible wife Jessica, for being true role models and Mensches - Jewish pride with NO CONFUSION!
Police officials sent it to meta to restrict that reel.
