Man, when this thing rolled into the Arden Hills exam station for one of the drivers to take their Class B road test and I saw the skeletons on the back, I laughed and laughed. Hope whoever it was passed!

My mother grew up in Excelsior. In the 1930s her Girl Scout troop went to the Douglas mansion on the lake and visited her. Quaker Oats money.

💚🩵🩶🩵💚 A day of two halves ….. Well the last day of October didn’t disappoint, although as it was Halloween, perhaps the fog should have arrived late afternoon rather than first thing. It was a mixed October weather wise for us, but the last afternoon was stunning and just look at those roses! I’ve never known a month go by so quickly though, was it the same for you? It might be because it’s been a busy month with one thing and another. There definitely hasn’t been enough gardening done that’s for sure. I’ve actually got a free day today, so I’m hoping the weather holds up. Some of my spring bulbs have finally arrived, so I’ll be gritting my teeth, and getting down on my hands and knees and planting some. With each one, I’ll be reminding myself that the pain will be worth it in the end. As you know, I love gardening, but I can’t convince myself that bulb planting is enjoyable. Give me weeding or cutting back any day of the week!
