One of the new Kolodko statues in Budapest near Szabadság tér. I think he may be for the 80th anniversary of the forint. The previous currency, the pengő, wasn’t worth the paper it was printed on and people were just throwing them in the streets. There is a historic photo the statue was fashioned after of a street sweeper sweeping piles of currency.
If you’re visiting Budapest, I highly recommend going on a hunt for these statues. You get a nice tour of the city and you learn a little about the place in the meantime.
