On October 13, 2026, about 13 of the 24 girls on the Camas High School cross-country team in Washington walked off the starting line rather than compete against Logan Mihailoff, a male runner who switched from the boys’ team to the girls’ team mid-season. When the starting gun fired, the protesting girls linked arms and slowly walked off the course and into a nearby tree line, forfeiting the race entirely. Mihailoff had finished 76th in a boys JV race in early September before switching — and has since won a varsity girls meet and placed second in others. The story went viral and comes just weeks before Washington voters decide on Initiative 638, which would ban biological males from competing in girls’ K-12 sports. #girlssports #washingtonstate #crosscountry #fairplay #womenssports 📸: via foxnews.com
Sometimes the mountains are simply in a league of their own. The sheer scale, clouds moving between the peaks and all those little details you only notice when you look closer. That’s what I love about the Dolomites. Cadini di Misurina | Dolomites | Italy | Mountain Landscape | Landscape Photography #CadiniDiMisurina #Dolomites #LandscapePhotography #photography
