We came here to film a documentary about Maika and her incredible women-only safaris.

I thought I’d capture a story.
Instead, Africa captured a part of me.

My first safari. Lions roaming at night. Elephants walking through our camp. Endless wilderness. And a feeling of freedom I’ll never forget.

Some journeys change your destination.
Others change you. 🤍.
